Legacy AS400 Migration to AWS

The Brief

A first class county collector, that collects $150M in taxes, wanted to migrate their AS400 systems to AWS Cloud. They also wanted their legacy tax collection date to be moved to relational database

The Solution

Parallel development of new Revenue Mgmt System based on Micro-Services Architecture. £150M of tax revenue is collected and managed by this product for Franklin county. COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a mobile payment processing capability. The solution was delivered in 3 months by integrating with the platform in real-time via API. Health risk reduced as citizens can now receive their tax bill on a mobile app and pay from anywhere. Product to be deployed in 10 more counties in Missouri, US by 2021.

A successful delivery of a complex migration where most Cloud consultancies would struggle with.
