The Brief

The insurance company was struggling to deliver a Digital experience for policy issuance since the underwriting system was on mainframe. Off-the-shelf solutions were inadequate due to complex decision tree in selecting mainframe workflow and was largely manual

The Solution

Ported decision workflow to Cloud based Micro- Services Architecture and used proprietary tooling to create custom Cobol copybooks in EBCDIC encoding and end to end workflows within mainframe platforms

The Outcome

A Micro-Services Architecture that can be hosted on Hybrid Cloud. Ability to offer native Cloud services with the legacy platform. Ability to trigger mainframe policy issuance workflows via API
